Just released a new print of the late Kelly Mcgarry we shot back in 2015 on his sharktooth jump.

My girl does amazing art. Proud of what she creates. As an artist there’s always ups and down, pretty special to see how many people have been appreciating her work lately. I loved capturing her in what inspires her art. @wildandsaltystudio

Winter ain’t over yet. So much snow still up in the hills.

After a good ski tour was coming off the mountain

After a good ski tour was coming off the mountain and saw how the flat lake was. Quickly loaded Peanut with the bare essentials + boat and legged it across the lake. was glassy at first. Bloody awesome night to sleep under the stars without the tent, full moon made it a restless bright night. Decided to get up at 3am and start fishing instead, hauled a good brown!!

One of those magical moments when everything lined up on a shoot. Shooting for @flockhill.nz was awesome, such an amazing backdrop to photograph.

After 11years shooting on the same @sonyalpha.anz

After 11years shooting on the same @sonyalpha.anz 70-200mm f/4 I’ve gone and ordered the much newer 70-200mm f/2.8 II. Quite an upgrade in sharpness and only ~200g heavier. I used to run a bulky f/2.8 when I was with Canon early in my career but with this Sony addition and very little weight/size gain is very much welcomed. Still an easy lens to take into the hills which is a big priority.
